A new character description for The CW’s upcoming Arrowverse crossover may reveal an appearance from a major Kryptonian character.
It was recently revealed that ‘s Superman is set to return with a yet-to-be-cast Lois Lane. Ruby Rose’s Batwoman is will also make her debut during the crossover this winter ahead of the potential spin-off series. According to That Hashtag Show, a new character description reveals another character who will be joining the this year’s crossover. The character’s name is Lon-El, however, there are no characters with that name in the comics.
That Hashtag Show speculates that the character may actually be Jor-El, Val-Zod (Earth 2 Superman), or Dr. Elias Kern. The character is also set to be a recurring guest star throughout the Arrowverse:
“A male of any ethnicity in his 40s, with the potential to play older than their actual age. Lon-El is described as a mysterious visitor who is from another planet and is both ambiguous, inscrutable and has the power that is teased as nearly infinite. The breakdown specifies that this major recurring guest star has the potential to appear for post-crossover episodes of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl as well as Legends of Tomorrow, some as just a small cameo.”
The three-night crossover event is scheduled to air from December 9 through December 11, starting with a special Sunday night episode of The Flash. The crossover event will be comprised of the ninth episodes of the upcoming seasons of The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow.

10 DC Comics Characters That Need To Be In Matt Reeves’ Batman Movie
As one of the DC’s most popular heroes, Batman has starred in quite a few films. After Christopher Nolan wrapped up his Dark Knight trilogy, the character was quickly reintroduced in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and was a key player in Justice League. The Caped Crusader is set to return in his own movie, potentially titled The Batman, with Matt Reeves, the director of Cloverfield and the last two Planet of the Apes movies, behind the camera.
At the moment, nothing is known about the film’s plot or who will appear, but with Batman in the title role odds are other key DC characters will appear. So far, Batman’s corner of the DC Universe hasn’t been explored too much, so there are still a lot of characters who can be introduced on the big screen. Batman’s gonna need some villains to fight, and allies to fight beside, so Matt Reeves needs to search through the back-issues and figure out who he wants to include.
